Innovative Gold Coast armour manufacturer continues to invest in new technology
With continued success in supplying products to the Australian Defence Force (ADF), Craig International Ballistics this week have commissioned another hydraulic press for producing flat bullet resistant protection panels.
Along with newly designed armour solutions the new automated hydraulic press allows Craig International Ballistics to produce armour panels up to 20% lighter and thinner than previous offerings, as well as improved durability and lower ballistic deformation. This means significant weight saving on aircraft, automotive and marine applications.
Craig International Ballistics have the ability to produce pressed armour panels up to 1600mm x 1200mm in size and cut to any shape using a variety of materials such as Dupont Kevlar® & Tensylon®, DSM Dyneema® and Honeywell SpectraShield®.
