Craig International Ballistics has been designing and manufacturing advanced personal ballistic protection systems since its establishment in October 1999. For almost 27 years, CIB has supplied innovative body armour solutions for defence, law enforcement, correctional services and specialist security organisations throughout Australia and international markets.
Every personal protection system is developed with a clear objective — to maximise survivability while reducing weight, improving comfort and enhancing operational performance. Our engineering team continually researches new materials, composite constructions and manufacturing techniques to deliver lighter, stronger and more capable armour systems that meet the evolving needs of today's operators.
Research, development and manufacturing are performed within our vertically integrated Australian facility, allowing complete control over engineering, prototype development, manufacturing and quality assurance. This integrated approach is supported by our dedicated in-house ballistic testing range together with NIJ stab and spike testing facilities, enabling rapid product development and continual improvement before independent certification.

Our personal protection product range includes lightweight ballistic plates, concealable body armour, overt and tactical body armour, ballistic shields and specialist training products. Each solution is designed to meet the demanding operational requirements of military personnel, police officers, correctional services and specialist security professionals while maintaining exceptional levels of protection, durability and wearer comfort.
Ballistic plates are constructed of composite UHMWPE, para-aramid and technical ceramics.
